"I was very pleased with the service provided by Aileen Plunkett of Galway Hearing Solutions. I attended because I wanted to replace my hearing aids. Aileen was very attentive to my hearing needs and rather than trying to make a quick sale she was very committed to ensuring that I had the time to try out a number of different aids and that I made the best choice for me. Because hearing aids are an expensive purchase I planned to try a number of different providers. I chose Aileen because of her audiology expertise and her commitment to my having the best hearing experience possible."

"My 6yr old daughter had her hearing test today, 6 months after grommets. We had a lovely guy doing the test. He was very informative, and really good explaining everything to my daughter. She was very relaxed around him and he praised her for doing so well. Back again in March with daughter number 2."

"Hi Aileen, I do not expect you to remember who we are as I know you have seen numerous people in many areas through the years, but I really hope you do not mind me sending you this message. I could not pass by without sending you a little note of appreciation. I am and always will be truly grateful for your caring nature, your understanding, and determination in relation to the care and attention you gave to my son many years ago. Without your help, support, and advice through the years, I do not think I would be as strong as I am today.

You made the discovery of his deafness as easy as it could be and pointed us in the direction needed in order to give him the best options in life and the choice of two worlds. I really do owe you a lot; I know you probably just think it's your job, but you went above and beyond in my mind, as I am sure you do with all your patients. I was very disappointed I didn't make it back to see you before you moved on, hence this little note I am sending you now.

It is because of your determination and actions on day one with my son that I am happy to say he has just undergone his bilateral implant last month, and he is the happiest little boy. He received his first one last year just before his first year of primary school and now is starting with both, but more importantly, a whole new world ahead of him. Without your actions, we may not have been so lucky to get them and meet the wonderful team in the Cochlear Department. Prior to the last surgery, upon every visit, he asked for you—you left a lasting impression on us all.

I wish you all the best in life and your career. You are one of a kind, and once again, we all thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Take care and best wishes always."

"After a sudden loss of hearing and severe bout of vertigo in 2016 I was left with no hearing in my right ear. The diagnosis was one of SSHD and I was told there was no prospect of regaining any hearing in that ear.

After struggling with my remaining hearing for some years Ms Aileen Plunkett was recommended to me. I attended her practice at The Crescent. She fitted me with a temporary set of Phonac hearing aids, the results were immediate, I could now hear quite clearly in my left ear. I decided to try the hearing aids permanently. Ms Plunkett also fitted a crossover transmitter in my right ear which fed sounds to my left ear, this further enhanced my ability to hear with some depth again.

My only regret is I waited some years before attending Ms Plunkett's practice. Thank you."
